Default Bat Out Of Hell, 30th Anniversary Edition

Firstly, do people think there'll be a 30th anniversary edition of 'Bat' released?

If so, what would people like to see? Please try and be sensible with your answers, i.e. not "a CD containing live versions of every song Meat's ever done..."

I bought the Born To Run 30th CD the other week and I thought it was pretty good (although let down by the crappy packaging imo). I wondered if the 'Bat' 30th CD could follow a similar theme; the original 're-mastered' CD (or similar), then a live DVD (one that hasn't already been released) and another DVD (again, one that hasn't already been released, i.e. not simply the 'classic albums' DVD).

Anyone have any ideas?

Personally I'd like to see the CD (obviously) then a live DVD as well from back around the 'Bat' era. Maybe also a making-of documentary, but it would have to tell us something other programmes/DVDs haven't.

I'd like to see a DVD released not a CD, and yes a documentary done also.
Remastering is pointless. The songs can't be made better.

If they did release something like that, they should get other famous singers to sing the BAT songs, that would be great to listen to.

But could other singers do a better job than Meat Loaf? I don't think so. But I would buy the album. It would be great.

I'd like a DVD included of ALL Meat's videos, as there are a few I've only seen clips off, and not the entire video, like "Modern Girl" and "Surfs Up" for example.

I'd like to see a release after Bat 3, and a dvd next to the cd (a 2CD sorta thing) including a concert, like maybe one like on jim steinman's site or a recent one from HOTD tour

documentary with original and present band mates would be cool or does that sound too much ?? I suppose pending on success of Bat 3, which should skyrocket

I think the format should be similar to "Born to Run" 30th edition. A 90 minute documentary about the original recordings, inclluding rare footage on one DVD. On a second DVD an unrealsed concert from the 1977/78 era (possibly two?). Plus lots of other info in a nice booklet.

Having said that we already have a great 25th edition plus the classic albums dvd which are quite good also. I do think they should release those amazing videos from Bat 2 on DVD at some point tho, possibly a Bat 3 release ultimate videos DVD tie-in with live tracks?
