...the video shoots weren't in 1975, were they? He just persuaded Lou Adler or Fox or whomever to run the videos before later showings of the film. The clips are mimed to the record FFS, they didn't start recording that til a year later.

From what I heard they were live performances recorded in 1975, which is why they are chopped and cut all over the place. The videos were then synced to the songs in 1978. But that could be false. And the record was recorded from 1975-1976 so it is entirely possible they were intended to be synced to recordings of the songs.
From what I remember Meat (or somebody) said the tracks were recorded in this order: Heaven Can Wait - recorded 1975 All Revved Up - recorded 1975 Paradise - recorded 1975 Crying - recorded 1975 Bat - recorded 1975-76 Took The Words - recorded 1976 Two Out Of Three - recorded 1976 If I got it wrong, I'll change it so cheers for the feedback. -Jack :) |
