From an interview:
(http://www.excal.on.ca/index.php?opt...=2681&Itemid=2) When asked about a fourth Bat out of Hell, Meat Loaf laughed and said simply, "I'm not gonna say no just cause there's been too much communication going on since August," and that "if we do it, it won't be called Bat Out of Hell Four." Well... Meat said there is not Bat4 but from this sentence looks like Meat has a contract for more albums. What will be that and what will be the title? |

not sure he'll have a contract but maybe a loose oral agreement.
as to the title, that's like trying to predict tomorrows lottery numbers I think there is too much stuff flying around at the moment for Meat to be definate about anything |

there are many interviews (+jims blog) where Meat and Jim said something about another album, things like
- A bat anthology with 3-5 (number variies) new songs is planned + some rare demo tracks of the original bat songs. - Meat sees the peak of his career still comming in the future - Jim mentioned several songs he plans to record with Meat. The interesting thing is that if you go through these interviews chronological, then youīll see that the whole thing gets more and more specific and clear. |

why not? hey itīs still allowd to dream...
and to get back to the facts, both Meat and Jim said they would like to do another album together (if itīs now 3-5 songs or a whole album, thetīs still unclear) but I see no reason for other writers is everything goes right this time. PS: but at the moment Iīm just enjoying what I got with bat3! |

go to www.jimsteinman.blogspot.com, and look through the posts. Heīs talking about what songs heīd like to record together with Meat. Itīs a while back that I read it, but I remember that he wrote something about a song called "conclusions and climaxes", though Iīd love to hear him do Braver than we are. |

I've got a sneaky suspicion a lot of the songs Jim mentioned on his blog may not be "complete" songs he has ready. Probably wrong, but who knows lol. Meat did write on the forum over at .net that if Jim were to have produced Bat3, it would have contained more 'cover' songs than it does now - that post was removed though. Meat mentioned on this site several years ago that Jim had written a song for him that was "twice the length" of Anything For Love(!!!). It's probably still here if you search.

My opinion is that from the song Paradise
First base is Bat I Second base is Bat II Third base is Bat III Home plate is the squeeze play Meat just might "SQUEEZE PLAY" another album out. |

Rob Evan can sing very well... but he learnt to sing, he is not the nature's diamond. Dream Engine is not a good concept.
I am interested in the full length Paradise!!! |

I rekon he might do another album after this and then call it a day - no offence, but I think it is time for him to relax after all this touring etc..

Itīs interesting that Jim is always working with singers who got a similar voice to him. īSpeaking of Rory Dodd on Bad for Good and now Rob Evan on Dream Engine.

I'll just touch on some points quickly
The Dream Engine, great idea, great potential, has to deliver any goods. The wrong person is driving the train IMO (Steve Rinkoff) Rob Evan, great singer for Broadway, no good for rock songs and he's not marketable I believe Meat and Jim do want to work together, but it won't happen in 2007 though I don't think there'll be an actual album, but more an EP (5 songs maybe) It's all anyone's guess, I personally would like to see a 'Conclusions & Climaxes' project, but I'll not hold my breath. I think it only depends on Meat.
If Jim really wants do a new album he'll have to work with Meat again. The Dream Engine album will never happen. Rob Evan is a great singer indeed, but he's not a rock singer. In my opinion The Dream Engine is not even a real band. lol Who should buy this album? Even many Meat Fans don't know what The Dream Engine is an Jim alone is just too unkown to have the success he deserves. Maybe both will "bite the bullet" and come together to make an album just for us fans. But I think that's only a dream lol Rock on Daniel |

Sadly I agree, they might have a minor hit, but it would do nothing much. Certainly not outside whichever state in the USA that the main singer is known in.
I'd still like to hear all their stuff Meat hasn't already done. |

Dream Engine consists of people with very impressive biographies - if you bother to read about them. If you don't...the only member of Dream Engine that comes as close to fame as possible is actually Elaine Caswell...and not really because she was a member of Pandora's Box...but because she worked as a backup singer with a lot of famous artists. And yes...she still sings It's All Coming Back to Me Now... Dream Engine album...if it will ever be made...don't think will become anything close to any kind of hit...and yes...would be great to see Meat and Jim work together... |

I think judging from the updates on the DE site, that the album would contain far more remakes of familiar songs than new material too.
