By request,here is a thread where our foreign members can ask what certain English words and slang terms mean.
It you see a word anywhere on the forums that you don't understand,you can ask here.
A note will be made of all words asked about and added to the main list beneth this post.

Grub - Food.
Nosh - Food.To eat.
Scoff - Food.To eat.To ridicule.
Tea - A drink.The evening meal.
