The Three Bats Tour | Meat Loaf Print

“Bat out of Hell is as close as rock music has got to a Hollywood Blockbuster” – The UK Independent

When Meat Loaf recently rocked London’s Royal Albert Hall, astonished British critics were left grasping for superlatives worthy of the event. The Meat is back. . . better, if not bigger; ready to take on Australia in February 2008 and this time it is all about bringing the ROCK (no strings or string sections attached).

Yes, February 2008 will see the multi award winning performer and one of the top-selling artists of all time return to Australia bringing with him the wildly successful performances from Broadway and the UK in a live concert all about the hits from the three “Bat Out of Hell” albums.

Meat Loaf's debut album, “Bat Out Of Hell”, has now sold over 37 million copies around the world, and still sells an estimated 200,000 each year.

“30 years after the original "Bat" made Loaf a star, he returns with ‘Bat III,’ a disc that recalls the original's theatrical bombast, anthemic melodies and guitar shred.” - New York Post

Meat Loaf is one of those rare performers who has never left the music charts. With a chart history that includes 68 Top Ten singles in the US alone, there are few artists who can match his brilliance and enduring popularity.

It is not just the success of “Bat Out Of Hell II: Back Into Hell” and “Bat Out Of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose” that have helped keep this larger-than-life performer in the public eye.

Meat Loaf is one of most diverse talents in entertainment today. Also known as Michael Lee Aday, Meat Loaf has appeared in over 50 movies and television shows. With roles including Eddie in “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”, to Robert 'Bob' Paulson in the acclaimed Brad Pitt/Ed Norton film “Fight Club”.

Meat Loaf's Three Bats Tour has been wowing critics and audiences around the world. All the hits - including You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth, Paradise By The Dashboard Light, Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad, I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That), Dead Ringer For Love and Bat Out Of Hell - louder and better than ever.

“the Bat franchise shows no sign of abating, even parents are now bringing their children along to gigs” –The UK Guardian

The legend returns, from amazing success at London's Wembley Stadium, Australian audiences can see what international crowds have already been raving about.

For those who have never experienced the Meat Loaf Magic – this is a last chance to see what American rock ‘n roll is really all about.

“… two hours of over-the-top power pop that blended the best of the ‘Bat Out of Hell’ trilogy…” – New York Post
