Meat rocks my world too! I'd be lying if I said I never thought about another concert dvd for 2010!
Just a side note, the new cd will have a release that comes with a dvd

As longer as the DVD is more MSO than 3 Bats Live.

the rock elements to 3 bats live was solid. the vocal elements to MSO was stellar.

The set list was better for 3 Bats, but pretty much everything else was better on MSO.

I was surprised to see an 18 track concert coming from Meat. Those songs and their length and everything. If their is a new DVD, they should consider some 80's songs and some new ones of course

But many of them were short songs or part songs.

Yes I'd rather see less songs, but done in full.

like that was done in the 1970's. I agree with you on this one. his harder rock and lengthy tracklist approach is admirable but i'm sure future tours won't go back to the way it used to be.

I think the only possibility for this would be if he'd come up with something completely new and marketable.
It doesnt make sense to throw another concert dvd in the market which is basically the same as the ones out there.

Storytellers has the intimate setting
MSO has, well the MSO
3 Bats has the 3 Bat albums
The Original Tour has the nostalgia effect

If he doesnt come up with something new it'd be nearly impossible to convince a record company, with relatively many ML DVD releases already out there.

there was actually a petition on this forum to get Bad Attitude Live re-released on DVD, didnt have much of an impact.

Let's just be patient and see what's coming for us. I wouldve NEVER expected to see the Rockpalast show on DVD!
Besides we get a DVD with the new album, let's just wait what's on that one first

Agreed, I trust Meat will have something all his fans will enjoy on the DVD.

I agree with that.
But the name of the album indicates something very different from what we're used too.
If it's different enough, it might well be a marketable possibility to make the DVD.

Good point. All official Meat Loaf DVD releases so far (except maybe Storytellers) are predominantly connected to the Bat albums, so the new album might provide a chance for an interesting, different DVD.

different for us, but the question is if the general public will see it the same way.
An unusual Meat Loaf album doesnt have to be an unusual album in general...

I'd love a dvd of the 2010 tour.

I also wish they would release a dvd of the Bat 2 tour. That was Meat's best selling tour, so I'm guessing a dvd of that tour would sell well.
