Well today is a very sad day for all Aussie Meat fans. The Guilty Pleasure tour has come to a finish here.

For Meat, well he was bloody brilliant! Now he'll have time, when he gets home, to put his feet up and do what I call "there's a time to weep and there's a time to reap". I know the Australian tour was a hard one for him, and he'll have a chance to look back at this and "weep"about the negatives, but then he'll get a chance to look back at all the positives, and "reap" the rewards from his concerts. I hope in time, he is able to get past the demons encountered here in Aus, and maybe be able to return for another tour! I know our conditions here are pretty dry, and I should know being a farmer in Northern New South Wales, and that this is hard on his voice. But I would like him to know that for those of his fans, as myself, who saw him for the first time, you really mesmorized us and you rocked us to the core. For those fans who have seen you many times, you never failed to deliver!!!
Anyway, I hope you kick arse across the ditch in NZ, and travel safely! I'm hoping and praying for another Aussie tour, but hey, I am so grateful and appreciative to have seen you at Bimbadgen Winery, and so grateful that my hubby actually gave me the chance to see you live. I hope one day I might get to meet you, but we'll see what happens! See what a bit of luck brings our ways.
To all Aussie fans here, lets give Meat a bit of lovin', show him our appreciation and support. Lift his spirits, oh, and let us not forget Loafdom for the Turtle guys. The charity that Meat holds close to his heart! Lets put our support behind this! By a wristband or some of the other goodies that are on offer too. Christmas is only just around the corner!!! I've bought many goodies and bands to support this great cause, and I'm asking everyone else to do the same too!
I'm also waiting for some cards in the mail to hand out among our rural community, so if anyone in Aus wants to do the same thing, please don't hesitate but to give a hand! The more people in Aus that know, the better.
