Who sings/plays an instrument?

Who of you guys sings or plays an instrument or does both? Even in a band maybe?
Wellllll, I myself am a very bad singer I guess.

Once played the flute

but that's mainly because the piano lesson classes were full.

Now, I am TRYING to teach myself playing the Tin Whistle. A flute also, but sounds nicer.

I don't sing well or play the guitar or piano well, I try to focus mostly on writing music and operas.

I sing perfectly. (everyone else merely listens out of tune!!!!!)

I play recorder and Slide Trombone.

And I can get a pretty good tune going on the old paper and comb

Well Chris guess you had to find a use for the comb - I've tried playing with paper and comb it makes your lips tingle - doesn't it.

I sing at karaoke nights, on holiday etc., when I've had a few

Tinker with sons classical/electric guitar and have been known to bash the piano when we owned one - but no way am I a musician just for pleasure and fun

Can't sing to save me life, but that's never stopped me, i LOVE singing, specially Meat songs, it's just brightens me day

As for playing an instrument...the only thing i play is the fiddle.....

I play guitar, not very well though, taking lessons though, so who knows..

And I do sing, sometimes i sing quite good, or so my boyfriend says, but i think he wants to flatter me

Well, have played: Drums, piano, organ, accordeon and flute. And hope fully in the near future guitar orso.

I bought a NEW guitar because I wanted to learn on it. That was the biggest mistake as I've given up now. I intended to teach myself with the aid of an instructional video, but whenever I try to press down on a string, it either doesn't sound when I strike it, or my fingers block the surrounding strings. I think my fingers are too fat! I need to lose some weight!

In the meantime, I've got an acoustic guitar sitting in my wardrobe that has virtually never been used, and it will probably go on being that way. I have thought about taking up the piano/keyboard instead.

Sounds familiar... I'm mostly fumbling around on the fretboard, and it sounds so bad... but I can play a mean intro to "Nothing Else Matters"... not that that's so difficult or so, but still...
