Default Disney sequels rant

I hate disney sequels they ruin the original film!

LILO AND STITCH

sequel:

STITCH: THE MOVIE

Oh so originally named (!). Lilo and Stitch is one of the best films they made. It was funny, original and the style of the characters were sweet, the animation was truely genius and the hula sequece was amazing and intricate. So when Stitch the movie was brought out I was as excited as anything. WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT. The animation was crap, the storyline was a rip off of pokemon, and the "jokes" were far from original. Created only so that they could make a series. The biggest dissapointment was the corny gerbil looking thing. Lilo and Stitch shouldn't have been made into a sequel.

The LION KING

sequel:

SIMBAS PRIDE

second sequel:

HAKUNA MATATA

The lion king has to be the most beautiful films they have brought out. so when simbas pride was brought out, the animation was ok, but the storyline was a little too Romeo and Juliet for my taste. Basic storyline is Nala knocks out a little girl who falls in love with bad boy who was trained to kill simba. Ends with bad lioness killed and all of a sudden the traitors are forgiven and little girl has another batch of honeys on the way.Hakuna Matata is ok, but Timon and Pumbaa just basically get on my nerves but I watched it anyway. Tells story of the story behind the story. Just enlightened me on wondering about Timon and Pubaa's sexuality.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

sequels that I know about

CHRISTMAS ONE (DUNNO THE REAL TITLE)

Ok. Beauty and the beast is a little too sickly for me but alltogether a classic. They wanted to put this in the original film but it doesn't sell well at the wrong season. So the basic storylineis a forgotton organ voiced by Tim Curry (oh rocky!) has the hump and tries to kill beast. Well, If you were shoved in a cellar wouldn't you have the blazing? Lands up falling into a pit and they all live happily ever after.

CINDERELLA

sequel

HAPPILY EVER AFTER

Ok Classic and everyone has seen this film. But they came out with this steriotypical film. So Cinders ain't a proper queen, she gives up and learns to be herself. (have they got some kind of dartboard or something in Disney? Be more kind? Love Yourself? Eat more chicken? etc) So why, If I may ask, invite a ball and invite every female in the land (tough luck if he was gay) if she isn't queenly enough?!? In the original His dad just wanted grandchildren, so after Cinders has popped out a few kiddlywinks i wonder what he thinks of her? A baby machine?

RESCUERS

sequel

RESCUERS DOWN UNDER

Ok. Rescurs rescue some girl in a boat in first film. So these mice go to australia after the most american accented australian boy that ever walked the planet is kidnapped by wannabe crocodile dundee and his pet lizard thing. Now miraculously this kid can talk to aimals and noone else can!!!!!!!!!! Not bad I suppose.

Ok that was my rant... no offence intended, I just wish the didn't make annoying and dissapointing sequels and buck up their ides a little about the sequels dept. Have a nice day now!

I really liked the Aladin : King of Theives sequel. I was really funny.
I also enjoyed Lion King 1 1/2. The same as Lion King but from Timone and Pumba's point of view
