I'm not apologizing Mouse.

Try living here, you might understand it from a different point.

Whatever, the fact remains that a 51% majority is small. Very, very small.
Unfortunately, this 'majority' places an incompetant buffon at the head of the second largewst military power in the world. This terrifies me, that people could actually be so idiotic and selfish as to vote for this man.

The site: Wonderful to know that not all Americans are flag waving loonies. . .In four years time we'll be rid of this bozo and we can get on with our lives.

THe thing is, it would be just as funny if Kerry was elected and it was the Bush suporters who did something like this.
It's not a political thing, I just find the idea itself original and funny

You are dead wrong about that Mouse. It is political and meant to belittle the only President I have in my life, that would be the Commander-In-Chief of the United States of America. I find that entire site offensive and vile. Bushy may not be the Great Communicator, but at least he is doing what he feels is right for his people and his country and his country rewarded him by giving him another four years to lead us into the great unkown.

And we have Tony Blair (enough said).

Didn't follow the usa presidential election race, and can't really be bothered with politics (none of it makes sense to me) but unfortunately the people decide in the end and for what it's worth imho, as a Scot, i think maybe what lost it for Kerry was his stance on gay marriages, the bible belt didn't like it, so they voted for Bush. Sorry if any offence caused to our USA members.

No, it is my honest thoughts about the matter. I would expect no less pride from you about your country (if it means anything to you) than what I have for mine.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why it is that some are daft enough that their thoughts and opinions are justifiable enough to be posted, yet someone posts something of different opine and thoes thoughts are not post worthy.

Why have a message board if everyone is going to be brain numbed zombies and all agree with each and every little thing?

The word pride is non applicable here. Nationalism is, pride is not. You haven't acheived anything yourself, you didn't choose to be born American...

You really dont know what you are talking about my friend. You are doing nothing but trying to spin your wheels in mud and start a vicious cycle of argument over this. We have differing opinions of this, any sensible person can see we will not ever agree on this matter, thusly it is best off left dropped.

FM,

I am glad you posted that link, hope you didn't take my response otherwise. Always enjoy learning from other perspectives and appreciate all that is said on this thread.

I live in a "blue" state, IL. Take a look at the map, all the blue states are east coast or west coast, then a few of us in the industrial Midwest. The broad spanse in the USA is all of us folks in between the coasts. (It is skewed because of Chicago.)

Come visit. Find the true America.

Brilliant site. Very nice of them to apologize. I'm in Kenya, and we all hoped for Kerry to win. The world economy depends on America, and hence the concerns about Mr. Bush.
Anyways, that's an old topic now. Maybe Meat should run for Presidency and Jim his VP. Patti can be minister for defence, Kasim - foreign affairs, and Tod - minister for finance.

I personally think the reason why Kerry lost is because he went on about the Iraq war, to be honest America has to stick by their men in Iraq or it'll just be another repeat of Vietnam. The Bible belt need a bit of speaking to as the bible says women should cover thier heads and you should not cut your hair yet still everyone does it, so read whatever you like into it...
