Mummy Mouse is having some problems with her wireless printer.
Anyone have any idea what's going wrong? I've tried to photocopy something on her printer. The paper goes through, but nothing is printed on the finished page. I've tried to photocopy something different, but again the page comes out of the printer blank. I've taken a look at the ink levels, and all are above half way full. I've scanned a document, and it's appeared fine on the laptop (so I don't think it's a problem of communication between the laptop and printer). I've tried to print from the laptop, but nothing appears on the page. The lights flash, the paper goes through, it makes the right noise, everything is fine apart from the small problem that nothing actually gets printed on the paper. Not even a smudge. Funny thing is, this is exactly what happened to her last printer, which is why she replaced it The printer she has now is only about a month old and has hardly been used. Any ideas? |

Have you tried cleaning the print heads? Should be in the settings bit in the printer software...

Just for the record, are the toner or ink cartridges mounted properly?

I find you'll have probs with Epsom printers if you use non-Epsom branded cartidges (If you can get the printer to recognise them at all, that is!) The ink seems to dry up, so next time you try to print you get a blank page. You have to keep cleaning print heads over and over until ink starts to appear on the paper. You'll probably find that by this time you'll have used so much ink that you need to change cartridges
