To run kazaa, you must leep open a port or door that other computers can use across the internet to access Kazaa. Firewalls block this in order to prevent anyone dodging gaining access to the PC. For Kazaa, the port is number 1214. Your firewall's help file or internet site wilkl be able to tell you how to unblock that port.

Hi pat,

To do thjis, you just need to type in the url ina different way:

Normally [ url ] http://www.smart.com [ / url ]
Displays the link as it is between the url tags.
e.g. http:www.smart.com

Using [ url = http://www.smart.com ] Smart Cars Rule!!! [ / url ]
will display the phrase "Smart cars rule !!!" as the link
e.g. Smart Cars Rule!!!

Using [ url = http://www.smart.com][ img ] http://tinyurl.com/2ehvh [ / img ] [ / url ] creates a clickable picture like this:

Hope this helps

Hi Chris

Still have major problems with computer.

We had it built 6 months ago and the company who did it have not given us any back up/original disks.

How can we search for viruses/crash the system and start from scratch without these?

We were going to buy a copy of windows ourself and install it - but we need to get rid of any problems and crash the system first.

PLEASE HELP - A DESPERATE FRIEND !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eddie, you need to find an image hosting site. http://www.villagephotos.com This is a nice one to start with.
Also, I suggest you take a look out for the Deviant Art website.

Also, if it's mainly furry art you're into, I may be able to provide a contact for someone who can help hosting it.

Hope this helps.

Looks like Uncle Chris and Uncle Rob are being kept busy here

I'll try and answer Heli's question, as it's the only one I have any idea on (but i'll probablly be wrong anyway )

Your friend needs to use her e mail address.
The e mail address is needed on this kind of forum as a means of identification. It's impossable to join this kind of forum without it.It's just the way the software works.

What is the problem with her e mail addy?
Is it that it's inactive or that she just can't view it?

If it's that her e mail address in invalid, then the account conformation e mail will be bounced back to webmastermlukfc. If this happens the account is automatically deleted.

If it's that she can't access her e mail address, then the conformation e mail will still be in her in box.She would need to find a way to access the e mail to activate the account.
If she tried to register again with the same name, she would not be able to use the same name, as the account has still been created even though it hasn't been activated.

I believe it is possible to access an e mail address from another computer, but i'm afraid I haven't got a clue how it's done Hopefully someone with a brain will be able to give you more details soon .
If you still have a problem send a PM to R.I'm sure he'll be able to sort it out for you

Hi my brother tried to join the site recently but has been unable to log on as it keeps telling him he's been banned. He is using the user name 'wanderer'. He's emailed R but hasn't got any response at all. There is no reason why he should be banned as he's only just joined.

Dunno why the "Wanderer" account got on the banlist. Look like a software bug.
I do however know that I didn't receive any email regarding this.

Anyway, he's unbanned now.

Thanks R. Don't know what happened to the email then.

Be prepared for the Wanderer.

The same as any other CD. But I'd have to know which program you're using.

Airhead,
Keenspace offers reliable, free webcomic hosting. This is a highly respected site and I'd advise you to contact them.
