I apologize in advance, this might be a dull topic only guitar maniacs might be interested in.
I noticed that the Gibson Les Paul that Meat plays in the Rock 'n' Roll Mercenaries video is missing a machine head and therefore has only five strings. There are several pictures of that guitar (e.g. on the back cover of the U.S. version of the Blind Before I Stop LP and on one of the Rock 'n' Roll Mercenaries shape discs) in which the machine head / string is missing, too. Rock 'n' roll mercenaries with broken equipment? ![]() Didn't anybody notice / care or is there a reason for it? (Sorry, I don't have anything better to worry about at the moment. ![]() |

I have often wondered how much Meat actually plays the guitar in the shows anyway...all seems to be done on one or two power chords but hey, hey knows how to play power chords which is better then me...at the minute!
