I think Meat is still with Virgin in the US, not 100% certain.

Perhaps if these ~~~~~~~s music companies wouldn't spend so much time bending over backwards over supposedly illegal YouTube videos they could let some of their YouTube monitoring staff go and just focus on selling records. Morons.

No shit, man. YouTube videos get deleted every day. It's an injustice, wah-wah, it hasn't changed no matter what we do, so let's not complain about it, shall we?

As for the thread topic, I think Meat just scored a label if Virgin's gonna let him go at any point soon.

Didnt he get off the hook years ago? Shortly after the 3 Bats CD... (which was the whole point of that release if I remember correctly)

I thought the record company released the CD against Meat's wishes? Meat Loaf Live was put out to finish off Meat's contract with Arista.

According to page 11 of these court-documents in the Bat-trademark case, Meat's deal with Virgin covered just Bat III.
The cancelled US In Search of Paradise: The Soundtrack album would have been released on Eleven Seven Music, which is related to 10th Street Entertainment, Meat's former management.

Maybe Rob can get Patti signed to the record label too. We've been waiting long enough for a Patti Russo cd.

Any ideas what In Search of Paradise: The Soundtrack would have been?

As part of his deal, Warner Music said, Cavallo will also be able to work on outside projects with other artists and labels.

this seems to clear that up.

I strongly suspect that it's just the 3 Bats Live album with a different title.

So one will find the paradise they seek when they discover how to turn the volume down to zero!
