Just looked at the site the meetlaaf guy posted (in the thread he started)...didn't someone once post a link to youtube vids of his on here once? they look familiar - at least the venue, the bloke and his way of 'performing'.

I didn't make it cos the microwave died halfway through and i had to put it in the oven but i was recording it anyway!!

Well, American Idol has begun and we have a bit of the same ole same ole...but we do have an interesting contestant this time. Blind young man who graduated college at 19 and studied in England...who scates and does ballroom dancing...who learned to play classical piano and all that while being blind...he is pretty good and very poised and gracious...can't tell he is blind if you don't know it...so...somebody to root for...
