Angels and Demons.
Good enough adaptation of the book to match up to Da Vinci, felt it was about 15 minutes too long which slowed the pace down a little bit. Very well done anyway though, now need to get my copy of the book back and read it again. |

The book is in the house!
I absolutely loved the film, loved every minute! I adore art history so to be honest I could have watched the entire thing on mute and still enjoyed it, but I thought it was fabulous, a really good adaptation and I was pleased to see that they'd chosen the right bits from the book to skip over, really well done |

Just back from seeing Star Trek, think you have to know the characters to really know just how well made this film is and to be honest I found the storyline a tad weak. Very enjoyable watch though and can't wait for the next installment (apparently they've signed up for three films).

Usually with prequels (or whatever the hell they called this one) the first film is a little weak on the storyline because they have to try and set the stage for what you already know, the ones after that are usually stronger. Star Wars - Phantom Menace was a weak storyline compared to Episodes 2 & 3.

Just watched The Da Vinci Code for the first time. A bit too long and too much French for my liking!

With Emma Thompson (who I absolutely love!!) and Dustin Hoffman. Very sweet, calm and emotional movie. I really enjoyed it and will definitely see it again some other time |

Angels and Demons. I liked it, but I didn't read the book. Hubby had to nit-pick it afterwards as he did.
