410 miles today at an overall average of 52mph, that's too bloody slow!

The top speed of the car really wouldn't have mattered in those conditions

Are you talking about Night Of The Living Dead, original, black & white, released in, I think, 1968 ? I saw it when it first was in the theaters and I was pretty shocked at the ending. I guess I'm overly sensitive because I gasped out loud loudly then cried a bit... lol ...

I'm butting in because someone was finally blessed' enough to make for me on USA tv a horror series, The Walking Dead. I watched the premier or preview on On Demand last night and liked it immensely ! I'm not much for vampires or over-computerized werewolves so don't watch Twilight. I like old school werewolves like the original Wolfman starring Lon Chaney, Jr. And I liked An American Werewolf In London, but not the one in Paris. I think it's that I don't like over-computerization of films. I liked Wolf and The Howling. I liked Interview With A Vampire, but that's about it, though... hehe... I'll think of more. I don't like Bela Legosi's (sp) Dracula. I love Boris Karloff's Frankenstein. And now, I've discovered... lol ... I LOVE ZOMBIES ! ... ...

Oh, lol, thanks ! I watched the premier of The Walking Dead again last night, this time with my husband. He found it "interesting" and he may watch the next one. He's SO not into horror films and I SO am ... lol ... The series started Halloween night so now I have another to watch and I'm very looking forward to it.

The original is a good movie

Don't expect to see an older version of what you've seen already, the storyline, characters, and events are very very different (which is why I can't honestly see it as a remake, although it's called one).

The only three things the two films have in common are........

1. The name of the movie.

2. Most of the action is set in a mall.

3. S*it loads of zombies.

Okay, we watched the second episode. I think my husband is a bit "eh" about the series now, but I liked the second episode as much as I did the first EXCEPT FOR THE LOVE SCENE. I don't need folks making love in a zombie film/ tv show, UNLESS IT'S BETWEEN THE ZOMBIES... ewww... lol ...
