I actually want to join the E Street Band.
They just get better and better, Bruce's energy continues to shock everyone, and he's extremely funny too! Roy Bittan's as legendary as ever, and Jake Clemons is rapidly becoming one of my favourite people on the planet...he's outstanding! Highlight was at Cardiff...we were stood on the barrier at the head of one of Bruce's platforms that he walks out onto. During Spirit In The Night (which is one of my favourites anyway!) Bruce brought Jake down onto the platform, lots of handshakes from both of them, then they laid down! So there's Jake - with sax - laid on his back on the left, Bruce on his back on the right, and us in the middle! Thought I'd gone to heaven |

Congrats, Andy!
I always thought Bruce should have set Jay Weinberg loose on "Roulette" while he had him- that kid could pound! "Tougher" seems to have gotten a lot of plays this tour. Personally, I wish I had gotten to see this- just stunning:
I don't understand why a couple of goofs thought this would be a good time to yell out. Somebody said that even Bruce looked annoyed (can't tell from the video). Quote:

If I Should Fall Behind was, without question, one of the best vocals I have ever heard.
Got to point out to anyone that clicks Play on that clip...this song was performed AFTER the encore, so Bruce has already got over 3 hours under his belt when he starts this! Unreal... Highlight of Leeds for me was Atlantic City and Shackled and Drawn |

I think he and Bruce sound amazing together! "My Hometown" the next night was even better, especially since it was played in MY hometown! One of my favorite concert moments ever!

This is a tribute band to Rob Zombie and White Zombie. Was an amazing show. They sounded identical to the original bands!! |

I've seen two shows in the last week or so:
The first was "Frampton's Guitar Circus", featuring Peter Frampton as the headliner, with Sonny Landreth and B.B. King as his support acts. Frampton also had a couple of guests during his set- Larry Carlton and Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick. Peter's son Julian also came out to sing lead on "I Want You to Want Me" and "Surrender" while Nielsen was on stage. Julian has a great voice- sounds a bit like his Dad. "Surrender" was a blast, with most of the crowd singing along. My only complaint was that I wish Frampton's set was longer- he played for about 90 mins. B.B. King is really showing his age, and he didn't play too much, but he still managed to entertain the crowd. Frampton guested with him on "The Thrill is Gone": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Idq2yqeG-Xc The other show I saw was Keith Urban in Indianapolis. He also had two support acts- Dustin Lynch, and Little Big Town. Keith puts on a great live show, and he didn't disappoint. He has a new album out in a couple of weeks, and he's been playing a couple of songs from it- "A little Bit of Everything" and "The Stars Fall For You". I love the lighting designs this tour as well. Since he was in Indiana, Keith had to play some Mellencamp, so he brought out Larry Crane from Mellencamp's band for "Authority Song": http://youtu.be/eGTdVM-SQAQ And because I know duke knooby is wondering, yes, there were banjos! http://youtu.be/ytZv0uVNr-M (btw- The bass player is Jerry Flowers, Randy's brother) |

Not a fan of Mr Williams but I do consider him the best live entertainer since Freddie Mercury

Saw Wynonna last Saturday and had a meet and greet with her. What nice person. A damn good singer and can hold a note for days. A great concert. Go see he! She's very interactive with the crowd.
