You forgot Storytellers, which is probably the best thing to do with it!

Roadrunnerchest has now edited the Meat Loaf Live CD page. Now I know it has to be bullshit, as Road Runner and Eagle Rock aren't the same thing.

Remastered Extended Two-Disk Release
Roadrunner Records have announced plans to release this record as a two disk collectors set. Remastering the original soundboard tracks, December 2011 will bring Meat fans the Live CD They always dreamed.

Disk1
  1. "Blind Before I Stop" – 3:54
  2. "Rock 'n' Roll Mercenaries" – 5:33
  3. "You Took the Words Right out of My Mouth" – 7:49
  4. "Midnight at the Lost and Found" – 3:43
  5. "Modern Girl" – 5:44
  6. "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" – 10:04
  7. "Two out of Three Ain't Bad" – 8:06
  8. "Bat out of Hell" – 10:29
  9. "Masculine" – 6:50
  10. "Rock 'n' Roll Medley" – 8:34
    • "Johnny B. Goode"
    • "Jailhouse Rock"
    • "Slow Down"
    • "Blue Suede Shoes"
    • "Johnny B. Goode" (Reprise)
Disk 2: Extra Content
  1. "Execution Day" – 7:41
  2. "Burning Down" – 9:45
  3. "Dead Ringer For Love – 8:17
  4. "All Revved Up With No Place To Go" – 14:23
  5. "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" [Unedited Version] – 22:12
  6. "Bat out of Hell" [Unedited Version] – 12:43

If it was being remastered, they wouldn't keep the same edits as in the original.

Take a guess at who would do this and you'll be right first time.

Meat did some really awesome shows between 1985 and the time when he got rid of his long hair. It's a pity that nothing is available from the time that has shaped the image many people have of Meat Loaf.

Oops! Storytellers is not bad, unfortunately it's not a "real" concert and lacks atmosphere and it's not my favorite NLE lineup. Meat does a great job though.

Some may have dreamed this, but not me. This would not be this Meat Loaf fan's dream show to be released at all.

If this is true then I think that deserves an outright ban. I find this stuff completely pathetic at the expense of innocent curious fans. Attention whoring people posting this type of misinformation have no place on fan forums regardless if this is posted elsewhere in my opinion.

Nor mine. I wouldn't say no to a remaster, but I don't dream of such a thing.

I think it would be much more likely we would see a re-release/remaster of MSO than this thing. Usually when they remaster/re-release something it's going to be that artists' most famous/best sold or most recent-related work rather than the bits and pieces only hardcore fans know about.

The tracklist contains stuff that is usually released by Sony. Roadrunner Records belong to Warner, as far as I know. And look at the wording...

Haven't we wasted enough bandwidth discussing the work (and I use the word loosely) of this attention seeking bandwidth whore now? He must be laughing into his milk and choking on his Oreos.

I have three problems with the Storytellers DVD, in increasing order:

1) Meat has a cold. You can tell he's putting the effort in, but it's still noticeable.
2) The lack of atmosphere as you've already pointed out.
3) The totally shite mixing job. There is far too much bass and the balance is off, more sound is mixed to the left channel than the right.

didn't know that, there were a few songs on that DVD/CD that i didn't worked as well , more than you deserve being one of them, but the version of Rock n Roll dreams is really good and I liked the intense look on Sir Loaf's face during Bat

One of my favorite performances of that song.

Mine too. I wish it had made it to the CD. All the DVD songs sound better on the CD!

Actually Storytellers would benefit from a good remaster. I bet there's hours of random chatter that some on here would swoon over. Also there's a performance of No Matter What that didn't make the final cut.

It was done before the show as a soundcheck. Why don't you update Wikipedia with that?

This is getting to be very off topic now; however, stop with the speculating. The record is very clear in regard to how the Storytellers taping went. There were some things recorded before the audience was let in for the taping. There was nearly five hours of footage recorded, as was well documented by people who are still on this board. There were songs performed multiple times and songs that did not make the final cut. All of the speculating about the "if only" over things that the reality is known do a great deal to lower the rent value of the whole forum here.

youre right it is off topic. sorry. but speculatong is fun. and its what fans are expected to do. I know the truth about storytellers, but deep down i fantasize and speculate that meat used fairy dust and made everyone forget he also played masculine too. its fun.

As for BALIVE DVD, this was an elaborate April fools day prank in the making. It was originally gonna be wembley '82 but meat ruined it.

Its all ruined now. I made fake boxart, planned a huge fake article and was making a fake web page. I made the wiki edit early so my prank wouldnt be too obvious, cause the page has an edit history and if it was edited two days before i posted the webpage here youd all know it was me.

The Webpage was gonna say "BAD ATTITUDE LIVE COMING TO DVD APRIL 21st, 2011" there was gonna be a tab for HD Screenshots and everything (making BA screenshots look HD was hard lol).

in the "Pre-Order Here" tab it was gonna say APRIL FOOLS with the video of me lynching california

Guess for april fools I'll have to figure something else out.

So as I said further up this bunch of nonsense, a remaster of this show would be interesting.

There's a difference between posting an April's fool's day joke and acting like a post whoring spamming nutcase. There's nothing wrong with fantasying over potential future releases as we often do on this forum but trying to con people, especially those who probably don't have time to actually investigate if it is true or false makes me sick. I regret sticking up for Mr. KnobEnd and the deletion of his YouTube videos. If you do stuff like this you deserve to get your ass chucked off SEVERAL websites in my opinion.

I think it is time for a lock as the lie has been exposed for what it is. I hate locking threads and even think it is time.
