Hopefully the fact it's one record company for worldwide distribution means that there will be that plus the proper promotion from their side of things. |

Also with one worldwide contract, as the move towards downloads hurtles along, those who like me still prefer to have a physical copy of an album, might hope that whatever happens Meat could still offer them via one central point eg meatloaf.net even if they were not readily available elsewhere for everyone.

So anyway a thought about meat's mobile recording studio...
do you think there's more of a chance that he'd be able to take this on tour with him and use it to record shows and release them for sale on eBay as I seem to remember him having the idea for during the CHSIB tour? |

i think either way it's going to be a whole itunes download thing for any singles, since it seems to be the main way to go. plus artists & record companies tend to get very little back against the amount it costs to distribute and produce the packing for the singles. anyway if meat has a permanent studio to work in, it gives him more options to experiment with different styles (should he so choose) and a lot more trial and error without having to worry as much about recording costs. |
