Forgot about the time i was emptying the dishwasher, and turned round straight into the open cupboard door, giving myself a huge black eye for a fortnight or so, which I tried to tell everyone was a result of richard beating me up but no-one believed it...

There's also the scar on my index finger, which was inflicted when I was 8 while proving to my friend's mum how safe I was with my new swiss army pen knife.

aaah....forgot the good old wesps...
I dont get stung too often, but when I do, it turns out to be really bad.

Best time was on holidays, when I was 6 or 7, was in Hungary with my parents and it was very hot. We went to a store and wanted to buy something. I was wandering through the store, when I saw something like a wesp-like looking toy (3/4 cm big), I wanted to take it....and it stung me? WHO THE HELL had ever heard of such huge wesps? and why did that damn thing stay still for minutes, till I thouched it?

Lets see ummm fell out of the top of a tree on to my neck didn't break it. Fell off a trampoline with my foot caught in the springs only thing that helped me from cracking my skull was a swing set that caught my head. I jumped/slipped on the boat and bruised my ribs. I had a swing chain break on me when I was swing with my family and I fell and hit my head. All I remember about that one is fall and the chain wrapping around my arm and leg, and sitting up after it happen. Got a cut on my arm and and surprised everyone when I looked at my little cousins and said "Let's go back up there and swing some more".Never felt any pain had a bruise around my arm and leg in the shape of the chain and a cut on my arm.I never have broke a bone in my body and am not going to start now. Got small scars here and there but been very lucky.

When I was younger I definately wasn't graceful. I sprained each ankle so many times that they got to a point that when I went to the hospital, they stopped asking for the deposit for the crutches . The worst injury was having something really heavy fall directly on my big toenail which made the nail rip off and required me getting a tetnus shot

Had the usual childhood knee scraps and resulting scars.
Around age 12, I stopped running, but my left ankle didn't - got a severe sprain it still bothers me today occasionally, and arthritis found the joint there a handy spot some time ago.
Also around age 12, I slipped on "black" ice in front of the garage door, and went down so hard on my back that I can't sit on steel chairs for longer than a very few minutes.
Around age 19, I fell down the cellar stairs, tailbone first bouncing down 5 steps, and heard my mother yell "you're walking" through my screams that I couldn't walk. I had a sore bruise in that area to end all bruises! Thank God the stairs were wood. This fall added further to my chair-sitting problem.
Got hit by a softball right in the face as I was walking to a friend's house. Knew very well the kid that hit the ball; it was all a bad accident. No concussion though.
Had car accident about 16 years ago - I was stopped in a line to make a left turn when I was rear-ended by a car that I saw coming but traffic prevented me from moving out of the way. Horrible feeling that was. Got hairline fracture of right knee, bad abdominal bruise - nearly a fractured pelvis - from the steering wheel as I sat close to it. Out of work 4 weeks, physical therapy. Arthritis found that knee first.

Ahhh...the last post reminds me how I was hit by a speeding car with a woman driver which was probably applying her make up...my car became airborne, I knocked down the street sign, flew over the sidewalk and stopped inches from the wall of the house...

My life flashed in front of my eyes...nope it didn't...

However, no injury whatsoever resulted...except for the car...it was found to be totaled the very next day...there must be a God somewhere...

To add insult to injury I have received a bill from the city for the street sign...oh well...

She had right of way...except she was driving about 60 miles per hour on a 25 mile per hour street...I was turning left and never even saw her...she approached THAT fast...there were no witnesses...and although there was plenty of rubber while she was trying to break from that speed...she was able to stop only by the middle of the next block...they found me at fault anyway...
