My wife got me a cool small Digital camera for my birthday today. I didn't ask for anything but she said "So you can take a few pictures when seeing Meat Loaf!" She is so sweet

Outside run today 2.2KM in 10:07. Need to get another 200m within 1m07s on a treadmill for PJFT. Should be easily doable (Yes that was done listening to Bat Out Of Hell!).

Got a Blackberry playbook for £99 today. Brilliant little toy.

Never thought I would see Men At Work songs performed live, especially following the sad passing of Greg Ham last year.
But, to my utter delight Colin Hay is playing the Bush in May. I couldn't book tickets quick enough. I am ecstatic.
So, I could possibly have Meat, Saxon and Colin Hay in the space of four frenetic weeks.
It's just a shame the Meat gig is my uncertainty.

Just need a brighter monitor, some SPEAKERS. This mouse may take a little getting used to. I believe I am going to enjoy my new computer :)

Time Team has just been on the telly, and I suddenly feel very sorry for Tony Robinson.
How long as he been doing that show?
Spening days in wet muddy fields, and what has he found? A spoon, a couple of pieces of pottery, and an arrow head, and then these ~~~~~~s come out of nowhere and go "TA DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, full skeleton of an English king.

Perhaps they could make use of that fancy barge thing and give him a proper Royal send off down the Thames. That'll bring the crowds out again.

I don't understand how the shipping on a miniature bottle of jagermeister is over £4 on each website I've checked

Because post is expensive! Royal Mail changed the format for costs and sizes last year, works fine for larger items but small items really take a hit.

I agree it's getting ridiculous now! I looked around on some US websites and recently I've not seen any shipping prices for less than $40

Does anybody work in a supermarket? I applaud you for having the patience to put up with idiot customers.
These places drive me mad.

I worked in one for just over a year. You meet some 'interesting' people when you work in retail.

Monitor is brighter now. I just had to log in the computer and do some brightness/contrast tweaking and looks great. Also last night was easy going. Played the Guilty Pleasures DVD with my stereo ear phones and it sounds better than it did on TV. A crisp DVD and a very informative interview with Meat and his people.
