Get well soon Meat. Sorry to hear that you are ill. I was supposed to go to MEN on 13th, this was cancelled and rescheduled for 21st December.

Is he going to continue with his tour? I do hope so, but his health is more important.

I posted this under the Tour Talk section but just wanted to re-post it here....

For your information Cpl Mickey it was my sister who shouted out Meat Loaf We Love You ~ and again for your information, on the way out the only person she bad mouthed were the people moaning and complaining about how much money they'd spent on this that and the other.

How many people there were real fans, and how many real fans missed out cos of people wanting to see Meat for the "last time"????

For Meat Loaf, we wish you a speedy recovery and if we are lucky enough to see you ~ so be it, if not, thank you for everything.

love and kisses

amethyst and her sister angii

It was very painful too watch the big man suffering and he had tears in his eyes when he had to finally give in and go off

Itīs great to hear that no-one was boo-ing to him. I can only imagine what it might looks like when Meat wasnīt able to sing. That breaks my heart. But I hope that Meat going to get well soon. [/quote]

People were booing!! That is disgusting!! Here the man was, upset about having to cancel, and they were making it worse!!! But he's probably up and about now, flirting and back to his old (no, young) self.

I was at Wembly on Monday. I didn't hear anyone booing. Their were a lot of people moaning about how much they had spent though. So what!! Whats more important, a few quid, or Meatloafs health? I have nothing but admiration for the man. It was obvious from the start that he was ill but he gave it his best shot.

I wish him all the best for a full recovery

So it's just a case of the flu?

I found out from Conan O'Brien and he made some crack about the STAGE being a total loss. azz.

What with his summer surgery that set back the open of the tour in here in US, now a wait & see situation in UK, I hope Meat realizes he can't push himself so much at Fifty-SIX (NOT 52!) as he could at 36!

Here's to ya, ML!
Hope you're feeling better, SOON!

perforated (ie, ripped or torn) intestine was the problem this summer. Not a pleasant affliction to have, quite painful and no fun at all.
