woman of steel, honestly it looks well enough written to me, it is the
words that matter, really take a compliment for what it is and don't put your self down, it is great.
better than a lot i have seen in them cards for all occasions.

I agree, Kezzina! Not only did I like the poem, but I liked your first words, Woman of Steel. They moved my heart!! So, as Kezzina says, don't put yourself down. You have the ability to express yourself quite well!! And I thank you very much for adding to this thread today, as we're coming up on the end of our WEBATHON in a little while.

Hi, Golden Girl. Yeah, I know. It's a very hard habit to break, isn't it?!! It's hard to build that confidence, if you just don't feel it inside! Talk about the power of the positive, huh?!!

Meat it has been awhile but I found my way back to. You have unknowlinglly been there for me many times with your music and have made a profound difference in my life.

My life has been crazy for the last 6 years been through alot of hard times and alot of pain, I turned away from life and friends and family for awhile but I never turned away from your music, your music has been a shinning light in a world of darkness for me.

I have been a fan since 1978, the first time I heard you was driving around listening to the radio and this singer named Meat Loaf came on and his voice blew me away. I have been a fan since then and my daughter and I went to two of your concerts in 1995 and had the time of our lives. I love you Meat have for the last 25 years and will till the end of time.

Even though you have no way of knowing how much you and your music mean to me I remember the day that I received Meat Loaf the Collection Cd from a friend in South Africa that I could not find in the USA. The main reason I wanted the cd so bad was to hear you sing "Stand My Me" and when I heard that song my tears started to flow, tears of happiness, your voice was like hearing an angel sing.

The words of the song that mean so much to me I want to say to you:

When the night has come and the land is dark.
And the moon is the only light you see,
No, I won't be afraid,
No, I won't be afraid ,
Just as long as you stand by me.

Meat you stood by me even though you didn't know it but the words that you sang in that song helped me climb out of the darkness into the light.

Meat I will always stand by you.

Please take some time to let your body heal and to get well.
And don't worry all of your fans will stand by you!!!!!

Thanks MB, I just spent the last hour and a half enjoying all the "webathon specials". It made for an excellent evening! It also really reminded me even more just how special Meat and his music are to me. I send all my good wishes and positive thoughts his way, he deserves to feel healthy again soon!

Hi! Well, I finally managed to get a little sleep!! When younger, I used to be able to go for days without it. Alas, those days are no longer with me!!

Just wanted to thank those of you who have continued with this thread. If Meat is still in the hospital, needing more testing to be done, then we still need to continue to send him all our prayers and positive thoughts and wishes for his renewed good health!!

So, I hope, that during the next few days, you will add a little something to this thread to keep the love flowing in his direction!!

Thanks again, friends, we are well over 800 people so far here. That's a lot of good feelings and wishes going in Meat's direction!!

Sorry I missed this yesterday. Thank you mbrevard. I am enjoying all the specials and poems and everything that people have written. It made me feel good to come here and see this. I have been very worried about Meat Loaf.

Sorry i've not posted here sooner, but since the sart of the week i've struggled with words they've put up a fight.

Others here have taken the words right out of my mouth so that i couldn't have said it better myself.

Meat through our highs & lows, thanks for blessing us with your songs, & hope you get better soon.

MB on the 04/12/03 our thoughts will be with you, i understand the worry & hope going through your heart & mind right now.
