any chance of putting some back to top buttons in, or having some navigation links at the bottom of the page?

i'm too lazy to keep scrolling up to the top to jump back to the main sections

Fantastic effort R!

Within a week or two at the most everyone will have gotten used to the new layout and facilities, and the performance, reliability and functionality benefits of the new board will be taken for granted.

There' a hell of a lot of work gone in by yourself to get this set up, so thank you very very very much!!

might just be my machine, but it's not displaying icons for unread threads.

it's trying to tell me i've read all the new things. but when i check the last post date on a topic, i clearly havent read it.

edit.

its showing unread icons for threads added to whilst i'm looking at others. just not those that were added to since i logged off last night.

The icons indicate posts that are new since your last visit, if you were to leave and then return to the post, it will only show new posts from that interval, not all the posts you haven't yet read.

Just testing it out actually. It's been a while since I've been here. (Life caught up to me.) To be honest I like the look here. I guess the only thing I miss is the date of the posts. You could tell how old a thread was by the date on the messages.

Now off to wander . . .

The date is still there.

In the forum views, the third column tells you when the last post was made to a thread.

in a topic, look in the top left of each post above the posters name.
