SCENE II. The island. Before PROSPERO'S cell.
Enter PROSPERO and MIRANDA
MIRANDA
If by your art, my dearest father, you have
Put the wild waters in this roar, allay them.
The sky, it seems, would pour down stinking pitch,
But that the sea, mounting to the welkin's cheek,
Dashes the fire out. O, I have suffered
With those that I saw suffer: a brave vessel,
Who had, no doubt, some noble creature in her,
Dash'd all to pieces. O, the cry did knock
Against my very heart. Poor souls, they perish'd.
Had I been any god of power, I would
Have sunk the sea within the earth or ere
It should the good ship so have swallow'd and
The fraughting souls within her.
PROSPERO
Be collected:
No more amazement: tell your piteous heart
There's no harm done.

Dear Aunty Sin,

I'm really not sure if you'll be able to help, you see my problem is that I don't have a problem, ya see my problem? After looking through previous posts here, unlike other members I haven't upset anyone (well I don't think I have), I'm not a postwhore (am I?), I haven't disclosed anyone's age without their permission, I'm not overly obsessive (well not anymore than usual), I usually manage to stay fairly up to date with the forums (when my computer is working), I'm also fairly certain that I exist (you can see me right?), also none of my piercings are stuck to any magnets nor has any of my drinlks been spiked.

So you see I don't think I actually have a problem... Anyway the voices are telling me I have to go now, so good bye...

Dear Guppie

This is a very sad case of what I like to call the CRAFT syndrome
C an't
R emember
A
F ***ing
T hing

Now this is not necessarily age related however the worst senario is pre-senile dementia, so I'd get that checked out first
Secondly, it could be strss related so you need to take some time and chill out..... get a nice soft cushion to sit on(to protect your buns), stick a label on your daughter so you remember her name and ask her very kindly if she can read over your shoulder to save your eyes.

Now you will probably find that if you visit more often but for smaller time slots this will be beneficial.

Failing that open a bottle of wine get wrecked and and stay on here permanently
lol lol.... he he... I'm working on the wine-thingy

I tried having a reminder sent by mail, but then I get swamped with reminder.
The obvious answer is spending more time here, but I am so afraid that my buns get flatter and flatter from sitting here so long. And my eyes are turning into something that looks like this

Do you have any advice for me?
I'm swamped as well Guppie - can't keep up now I',m working longer hours - I take "Dottie" as a compliment - Thanks

Dear Termin8orjen

I think what we have here is an "over active perfection driver", and although you cannot yet recognise it your post is indeed a cry for help
You have an overwhelming desire to be good, not offend, keep up to date with the forum and are as sure as any of us can be of your existance, also postwhoring is a concern for you.
I wonder if it is "the voices" that are prompting you in these actions?
You need to let your hair down and be just a little bit naughty from time to time.
Now hearing vioces generally does not concern me and if people think it is a problem they are only jealous because they don't hear them, but if you want to reduce the infulence the voices have on you, i suggest the following:-

1/ Go now and make a post in the "Postwhore Thread" (but please follow the postwhore pledge)
2/ Move away from the computer choose any Meat Loaf album and play it as loud as you can get away with.
3/ Next time you have a drink take it from the bottle not a glass
4/ Next time the voices tell you something be assertive and make them wait

If this should fail then we may have to consider demonic possession and call in an exorsist....but lets take it one step at a time.....

I am becoming increasingly concerned here If thoughts of Dottie begin creeping into your dreams as well as calling your daughter by her name then we may have a more deep rooted problem that needs further investigation. If this is the case then you may have to put the wine on hold an try a cold compress

Thank you for the advice Sin, I'll be headed to the Postwhore thread as soon as I can, unfortunately I can't seem to tear myself away from my computer but I have compensated by playing a large selection of Meat songs really loudly through my earphones.

So far I've not heard anymore from the voices, although there is a strange ringing noise now, maybe I've got Meat a little too loud (if that's possible)

We sometimes have to choose the lesser of two evils
If ringing persists try holding your nose and blow hard!!! Better just check that it is not your earings tinkling first

Aunty Sin, I think I't becoming worse... last night I dreamt I was having tea with R. and Satan.
I am now confused. Should I get drunk or choose the cold compress?

Dear Guppie

It is very common to associate with important figures in your life. And this is probably your subconscious mind telling you just how important these people are in your life. Now is the time to come out of the closet and declare your true feelings This is the only way to free your mind..... you may need to build up the courage to take this step and for that you will probably need both the wine and the cold compress

You need to consider if your glass is half empty or half full......If it is half full you will always be content

UUUMMM! I have a dilema here A partnership would be great and provide support in a very stressful job
However you would need to promise to be reasonable nice to people, and not just tell them "to go get a life" or inspire any suicides
Can you promise to be good and manage that?
Don't forget we are dealing with very serious life altering problems here

Dear Sin,

hahahaha You are so funny. Don't know if i can promise that. How about a trial period. Say one week, if you are happy with me, we continue our partnership, otherwise you dump me

I love R. and I hate Satan.
Thanks, I feel so much better now
