He looks younger than that. It's hard to be believe he's 55. He's got so much energy, it's fantastic! Nice to know he's still going though.

I taped those wonderful 15 mins (including interview, and, on watching them again, I noticed that, if I listened really carefully, I could still hear you singing even with the mike being ~~~~~~ed . Has ne1 else tried that? You've got to listen real hard, but I swear down there's sound there!
I was actually relieved u were on early, I couldn't take much more of having to listen to all the others miming! So, Charlie was disappointed to have missed seeing you perform?! I think they should have made him turn up at 12 and sit there for the whole 8 hours ! I've got 0 against him, it just would have been funny! To hell with the presenters, and that poser from blue. good presenters wouldn't say what they said, they're lucky I wasn't there! But yes, credit to wheatus, I definitely got 0 against them now! :) Can't wait for Newcastle! Lots of love and take care: Nwcstle's a long way away yet! Catherine XXX PS: Hi Lucy!! |

All that matters is that you did the best that you could. You can't help that some people don't appreciate you like we do

As for the circus that was PitP..well..i just watched it, and i have to say i'm disgusted with the way Meat was treated. I don't think that Denise Van whatever and the other so called presenters have ever heard of the word RESPECT. I think Meat was treated appalingly, not only in the interview - you could tell our Fire Ball was getting pissed off with them - but also when he was doing his set - the people in charge of the monitors and sound should be shot. I volunteer to do the shooting :P All credit must go to Meat though, for singing his heart out, as always. Guess he showed a few people how it should be done |

Well, so far they HAVE featured BOOH in the highlights programme .. but one that was subjected to just about the clumsiest edit I have ever seen and heard, as they cut from the end of the second verse to the final minute or so .. an edit which was like a sudden slap round the face with a wet cod and left me open outhed in amazement!
But I do believe we got to see the whole of little Gareth and his cover of that fresh new song Spirit in the Sky!! .. siiiigh ... |

The first topic was locked.
As people were incorrectly saying that Channel 5 had edited out a lot of AFL and they hadn't (other than some booing when Meat started to sing and then didn't) and I wanted to correct that, I started another thread - PITP Details it's called. The next day Meat Loaf started another thread (this one)....and nobody wanted to lock that one! Sue http://www.KasimInfo.com |

I went to see the gig in Plymouth. It was two hours of sheer ectasy. Non-stop singing, non-stop Meat. I went around the back to see you leave and I couldn't believe that people were moaning because you didn't take time to talk to us. There was a police escort waiting for you to go and catch a plane to London, and after signing and giving it your all for two hours I would have thought they would have had the decency to respect the fact that after your performance you just couldn't give anymore. Thank you Meat for a show that was second to none. Love the new album. Please can you find another date to finish in Plymouth?? Just keep going Meat, we need real singers around.

Meat is a REAL performer. All the other groups do is mime and do a Stupid Dance.
Big thing is in 20 years people will still listen to Meat. In 20 Years people will probably be saying "Gareth who?" |

This evening there was a Dutch radio program that played songs from PitP. Ofcourse we requested Meat. I started listening 15 mins. 'too late' I didn't hear any Meat song, just the **** I heard at the UK-radio station for days.
I believe they, eventually did play Anything UK-radio (ofcourse when I wasn't listening) but if anyone from Holland did hear the whole show this evening, I would like to know if they played Meat! Thank you, Mariella |

I watched Meat sing for the first time Bat out of Hell - Party in the Park - VH1 - wow what a performance so raw, energised, and so full of soul. Worth the wait!
