It looks like he targeted people who had shown interest in helping on the thread that started all this off.

The thread was locked but he already knew which forum members had said they were willing to halp financially.

I think he may well have been made aware of what's been posted on here, given his postings on FB .. eg:

As AJ Hanson he also posts on the wall of another FB account registered to one Alexander James Hanson, co-incidentally also of Mankato, MN, where his bio includes the illuminating sentence:
"If i would discibe me in a word it would be AMAZING but people have there own choice to decide that."

Yes, I think many would consider his front amazing .. and also that we have made our decision. And as well as being a scammer of the nastiest type, he's either terminally and arrogantly stupid or several synapses short of the connection imo .. or both.

I must admit, I expressed sorrow for him when he first posted about his 'illness' but then didn't really visit it again after that, and was surprised to see his review of the concert. I hadn't realised all the rest till I saw this thread.

That laptop story is unbelievable really. I actually thought for a minute the guy would perhaps finally get the laptop but this has completely confirmed everything that we suspected AJ of being; an outright scamming b*stard. He has no place in society or in fact be part of a an audience at a Meat Loaf concert. I can think of several people I would have happily chipped in for to have taken his place at that show instead. What a pathetic miserable, low life excuse of a human being. I hope all his (Facebook) friends find out that he is in fact a criminal, a flithy rat. Lock em up and throw away the key.

Actually I have to apologise for all the rats on this planet, he is in fact lower than you. Sorry, now get back to finding something to nibble.

I absolutely agree with you Andrew

After I deleted him from my friends list and blocked him on Facebook, he actually sent me a PM on his forum asking him why I had deleted him

. I deleted that message and haven't gone back to that forum since ..... the further away he stays the better !!

I think he mentioned back on .net that he was handicapped, back when I complained about no midwest shows during Bat 3. Then all of a sudden he was on here excited about a SOO show and going to be there. Next thing we know he is sick with cancer and then a tribute artist. I hate to say this, but we (T and I) just rolled our eyes and looked at each other with "Oh God Not Another One." The people we know in person understand that this is something that does happen, but we usually see it coming a mile away. Vicki, we know you and we are so sorry you were used. God, we all love the music, but the net is a breeding ground for con artists.

He didn't single me out either. I did express I would help out if there was a program set up in his name but it didn't go any further as I was awaiting for the mods to inform us of the process. I did immediately defriend him from facebook and he sent me a "wthell?" message after I requested to be deleted from the alternate site he set up.

I told him the same could be asked of him and that this "friendship" had been compromised due to recent fraud activities that he had been involved with on PBNations. So, it was best I kept my distance.
