For those with a PayPal account (which I imagine is most...) there's an email going around requesting that you update your profile info on or before January 14th otherwise your account will be suspended...obviously this isn't genuine, don't click it, and I was advised to change my PayPal password as a precaution. Here's a copy of the email (thanks for your help hon!

Whatever Lucy said about Paypal applies to anything from E-Bay to banks. It's all under fire. Before clicking on the link to update - call the organization e-mail represents and ask them if it's theirs.

It is actually very easy. You click on the link and you're taken to a domain that looks a lot in the name as what they represent. However, it's not the right domain, but, in fact, something set up to steal your info.
