I'm hoping somebody can help me out here. I have two Meat Loaf 2007 programs: one entitled "Three Bats Tour" and the other "Seize the Night 2007." I know I got one at the Hummingbird Centre in Toronto, on 14 March, because I remember sitting in my seat and turning the big pages, just thrilled and captivated by it; I'll never forget that, in fact :) I got the other one at Jones Beach in August, later that same year, I'm almost sure. But which is which?? I'm hoping someone has the definitive answer; thanks in advance, and I apologize if this isn't the right place to ask!

they changed the name of the tour from STN to 3BL halfway through. For marketing reasons I guess.
In fact I went to several concerts where the ticket said Seize The Night but the show itself was advertised as 3 Bats Live. Meat said at some point that 3 Bats Live was the second part of the tour (after he returned from the US I think), but that cant be true as (as I've mentioned) I bought tickets that said Seize the Night for the second leg of the tour as well. |

As far as I remember, the first part of the 2007 tour was called "Seize The Night " and the second "Three Bats". The tickets for the summer concerts had "Bat Out Of Hell III - Seize the Night Tour" printed on them, the ones for the additional concerts in fall "Bat Out Of Hell III - Three Bats Tour".

Thanks to all three of you :) I wonder if the orders to print the tickets couldn't be changed in time (or at all). I've got it figured out now, at least for the shows I saw. I think my own confusion came from the fact that the Three Bats t-shirts were arriving home while I was going to those shows but wearing the Seize the Night t-shirts from the spring :) I just never sorted it out in my mind until now, sorry bout that.
Seize The Night was from 23 February to 16 April 2007 in the U.S. You got a jet black Seize the Night Tour '07 2007 VIP t-shirt with silver printing on it, and the program or tourbook at the merchandise stand was titled Meat Loaf: Seize The Night 2007. Three Bats was from 18 July to 3 September 2007 in the U.S., and 18-31 October in Germany and UK. The VIP t-shirt was the soft skull one that weathers to a nice charcoal; it says Three Bats Tour on it. The tourbook's title is Meat Loaf: Three Bats Tour. The Seize The Night shows consistently opened with Paradise, right after the All Revved Up intro; during Thee Bats, Paradise was always near the very end of the show, just before Bat Out of Hell. I don't much care what Wikipedia says, lol, since I don't think Meat wrote that entry. I don't know whether Meat himself views it as all one tour or two, but his opinion would be the only one that counts :) I just wanted to get my treasures straight, as to where and when I got them, and I've finally done that; thanks for your help :) -Kathy |

Maybe when buying tickets for Three Bat Live, Seize The Night was still playing and the tickets for Three Bats Live were wrongly labelled as Seize The Night as that was the show at the time.
