Default Like a snack out of hell

More Sun coverage for Meat, that front page gets ever closer ...

POPSTAR to Operastar judge Meat Loaf hit the roof after the strict vegetarian was served . . . MEAT LOAF</B>.

The jumbo-sized Bat Out Of Hell singer - nicknamed Meat - was an ITV guest at the Brit Awards on Tuesday.

The star looked chuffed with his spot just yards away from the main stage - until the grub started arriving.

A source said: "Meat is a big eater but ironically he doesn't eat the stuff.

"So he had a face like thunder when he was presented with some meat loaf. He sent it away and asked for the vegetarian meal he ordered.

"I suppose you could say he'd do anything for grub, but he won't do that."

Waiters soon made make the switch - no doubt they'd read the TV Biz story about the star's spat with Popstar host Alan Titchmarsh.

He turned veggie after ballooning in the 1970s and 80s on a poor - but meat rich - diet.

Meat Loaf, 62, born Marvin Lee Aday, got his nickname from a teacher at school because he was slow and chunky.

Now that is the biggest load of crap I have ever read. They just seem to make stuff up as they go along. But yeah, Meat is inching every closer to that first page!!!!!!!!

Even the Brit Awards wouldn't be naff enough to serve meatloaf as a course in a fancy dinner ..

Mind you .. given they said they intended to replace the originally planned fois gras course with duck liver pate after being criticised for putting the former on the menu .. it's also just possible that the reporter who fabricated this daft story was actually AT the dinner and his sophisticated palate detected pate as meatloaf ..

This whole story is more hole-y than a block of Swiss cheese. Minus the name 'Meat Loaf' and age, the whole thing is bad journalism fabricated by morons. I think my 8 year old knows more true information than 'The Sun'.

I'd read that Meat Loaf was a vegetarian for about 11 years or something and I thought he'd gone back to eating meat. I know someone who eats meat can choose vegetarian options (I do myself sometimes) but The Sun seemed to be implying that he still is a vegetarian.

The Sun does more than imply .. it states .. but what the Sun's states as fact tends to be as reliable as a chocolate bicycle ..

Someone out there somewhere glorifies The Sun?

It's nothing new for the Sun to be slightly inacurate now and again.

To be fair, the average Sun reporter is a wee bit dim and therefore likely to believe anything they are told.

I heard somewhere that they a few were raving to each other about this brilliant true to life documentry about the war called Inglorious Basterds

hey, at the end of the day it's publicity for the Loaf, and that's all that matters!

I dont know about you, but I'd much rather see them come up with a story about Meat being vegetarian, than saying his albums and tours are shit.

remember he did his meatloaf-tuna-surpise when he went on that cooking show a few years ago. A pretty strong indication he's not vegetarian, I'd say...

He might not be a strict vegertarian
Some do eat fish.

I knew a hard core vegan once.
He wouldn't even drive through a town with the word "ham" in it.

Thank you Bill Bailey for that one
