That depends if you believe the rumours that Steinman is back at "working".

my guess is if it hasnt happend up to now it's unlikely to happen in the future.

AKIATTTW has Meat's and Bonnie's vocals on the Tyre Tracks and Broken Hearts part, but it hardly qualifies as a duet. Jim just took bonnies vocals from her own single release of TT&BH and layed them under Meat's. They've never meet for this one.

Agreed.

Every time Bonnie works on a new album, she asks Jim if he has any material for her. Sadly he never gives her anything.

Default Newcastle nov 2008

Seen Bonnie Tyler in Newcastle 18 months ago when she performed with lorraine crosby (aka mrs loud), at the city hall in newcastle, it was lorranine's birthday bash afterwards at the gate. A good time was had by all and got our pics taken with her.

I wouldn't mind seeing Meat and Bonnie doing a duet of Loving You Is A Dirty Job (But Somebody's Gotta Do It). Total Eclipse of the Heart wouldn't be bad either if they managed to work the male vocals in a bit more other then just going the 'turn around bright eyes' lines

What IS happening with Steinman these days? I haven't anything about him in ages. Is he retired? Did he give up on the Bonnie Tyler album that was supposedly coming out? What's his relationship with Meat like these days?

Wow, just realized I've barely heard anything about him a couple of years now

He's suffering from health problems and dicking about with a Bat Out Of Hell musical that may or may not ever see the light of day.

Hope Jim's doing okay...he stopped blogging quite a while ago, right?

As for a Meat and Bonnie duet, no offense to Bonnie but I think it would be a step backward for Meat. Maybe it'd be fun at a gig or something as a one-off, but at this phase in Meat's career where he's pushing forward and trying to distance himself a little from his past work, it wouldn't seem like a good move.
