What songs, in your opinion, are the hardest to sing?
To quote Neil, as he's the inspiration for this thread:
Quote:
All are hard to sing, but what are the hardest? besides IGLHFBOU, here are my some of the hardest to sing: Everything Louder Running for the Red Light Break It (surprisingly very difficult to sing) Like A Rose Testiy and Objects Hands down, in my opinion, the easiest song and best song for anyone to sing is took the words, as it gets a crowd going and you can get some easy audience participation depending on the crowd. |

IGLHFBOU is very tough indeed, but phenomenal if you pull it off :)
Bat of course, due to the high Cs at the end, FCOL I think because the acting must match the singing. To be fair, I think that Meat has some of the toughest songs to sing, full stop. Especially the Steinman ones, but also some from WTTN (eg ILYATTT, NADEITH) and HCTB (eg IIR, IICHY, EIV). |

Left in the Dark is a pain in the ass to pull off flawlessly.
I'm physically unable to sing Surf's Up properly without cheating (singing parts of it down the octave) >.> |

Probably because the adrenaline pumping doing it to a live audience. FCOL is a little trickier, but it feels great when you nail it dead bang Quote:
HCTB I wouldn't know.I haven't sang anything from that album, and I think the only song i'm eager to try is Song Of Madness. As Wario quotes me as saying, on the whole, I find anything off the Dead Ringer album harder to sing than most of Meat's songs. Read Em & Weep, Love Her For Both Of Us, I'll Kill You If You Don't Come Back, Dead Ringer, good songs, buff tough to sing. I always forget the words |

Has to be Masculine. It has been avoided at all cost since the early 90s.

Oh yes it is. But the ending is pretty easy with "Tire Tracks and Broken Hearts".
Ive been going through my backing tracks, and surprisingly, Im finding Life is a Lemon hard. "Shove it up your ass" needs to be nailed for it to have a comedic and sarcastic flavor. If you cant hit that, the line seems pointless and pathetic and the performance as a whole suffers. |

Any song for me! I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket. But forgive me I am not very patient today and can't be bothered figuring this out myself, what song does IGLHFBOU stand for? I know I will kick myself when I find out.

Yes I hate the "Gonna love her" acronym and the one for "A Kiss is a Terrible Thing to Waste", AKIATTTW too. Who the ~~~~ started to shorten that?!
Strangly enough I've never seen an Objects one? OITRVMMACTTA I think anything with more than 4 letters becomes difficult to decipher. |

Good thread guys, I think Living on the outside is actually a hard song to sing because it's so fast, also frying pan is a hard one, nowhere faster and everything louder are tough ones too. The fast songs seem to be the hardest for me.

Bad for good is a hard song to sing in my opinion, very fast with lots of switching between low and high notes.
