Can anyone tell me more about the live tracks on this album, such as where the were recorded and are they very good?
I'm thinking of getting this since it only costs 6pounds in my local record shop ![]() Thanks |

![]() ![]() Welcome to the forums ![]() Don't quote me on this ![]() The only shop i've seen Live Around The World in is HMV,as they import it from America. If your local branch does not have a copy in stock i'm sure they could order it for you. Selling at £28.00 (is that right?)it may be a little more than you would expect to pay for an album, but don't forget,it is an import ![]() The packaging is fantastic ![]() ![]() ![]() Another small advantage,is that I believe (correct me if i'm wrong Meat) that Live Around The World is a Meat Loaf release, while the Heaven Can Wait CD is just another compilation made by the record company, without any imput from Meat, for their own profits. At £6.00 the Heaven Can Wait CD is very good value, but my advice is,if you can strech to it,go for the Live Around The World set. It's well worth it ![]() P.S.It is worth noting that you may have already heard,or may in fact own some of the live tracks as a couple have been used as bonus B sides on singles ![]() |

I bought a copy of Heaven Can Wait: The best of, on Sunday from HMV. I do have a copy of Live around the world but this is to add to my collection. On the inside cover Of Heaven Can Wait it has the release dates of each song, studio track release dates and live recordings. The only live recording on Heaven and not on Live around the world is Bat Out Of Hell, which according to the inside sleeve cover along with the nice but short Meat biography, was recorded in 1993. This version of Bat doesn't sound like the Live around the world version either. Hope this help's, but if it was a choice between the two, go pay the extra £22.00 and buy Live around the world

Thanks for your help guys!
To be honest, I'm more interested in the studio tracks for this album, and was just wondering if the live ones where any good. |
