Amy Winehouse found dead at 27 in her London apartment

Though we could all sort of see this fate for her it still comes as a shock.

R.I.P Amy !!

Not a fan of her (thought she was way over rated), and it's hardly a surprise, but it's always sad when someone dies at such a young age.
RIP

Talented singer, real shame she couldn't tame her demons. R.I.P.

The fact it will get more news coverage than Norway is a bit

Her singing wasn't to my taste, but she had talent and chose to throw it away .. unlike all those young people with their lives ahead of them who were gunned down yesterday, and whose choices were taken away by a madman.

An incredible loss for the world of entertainment. A totally brilliant talent wasted away just like Joplin & Hendrix.

i have no idea if she had talent, her image/songs never appealed to me personally, equally i've no idea if she chose to throw whatever it was she had away... i dont know what makes people do what they do, but there have been many people appear to reach the self destruct button... and its always a sad loss

It was no great surprise, I have no sympathy for the woman, but I feel sad for her family.

Also a loss to the music world, very original, a wasted talent.

As I work in a conenience store I did take a peek at one of the papers that said that she died of an Ecstacy tablet overdose, not a surprise as she's been on a downward spiral for a very long time. I do feel that her concerts last month should of been cancelled so that her fans could of had a better memory of their idol.

As I said above and most after me a very sad loss to the music industry and such a waste of a talent !!

YouTube Video

How ironic...
If she did she might be here still and a very touching tribute from Russell Brand.

be it life taken or life wasted, it's not been a good weekend.

In Amy Winehouse's case, it's just sad. She had talent and while i can't say i was a massive fan of hers, when she was on form (which was all too rare) she had a great soulful voice.
