Default Black Sabbath Reunion

No idea if there's any other Sabbath fans on here, but they just announced that they are reunited. I'm super stoked for this! Even if it is bittersweet because of Dio's passing, I'm sure he would be happy to know that his friends are continuing to make the music he loved so much.

You do know that Ozzy was the original singer, right?

Anyway, this very cool!

I loved them back in the day...Children of the Grave is one of my favorite live songs.

The original Black Sabbath back together, Download, album, tour. I've been so happy all night! Gonna take the year off and follow them around. Need my Sabbath fix as this is likely the last time.

yah I do, but most recently Geezer, Iomi, and the drummer dude were with Dio in heaven and hell. Loved that lineup, and I love Ozzy, so should be cool to have them together again.

The "drummer dude's" name is Bill Ward...

Here's a picture my then boyfriend took on the "Mob Rules" Tour. Nice shot of the back of Dio's head.

I've only seen them with Dio.
I will definitely see them with Ozzy.
Is that another thread question - Ozzy or Dio?

That's easy: Dio.

Once at a festival, I saw both Heaven & Hell and Ozzy solo. Heaven and Hell was one of the reasons to go to the festival. After a couple of songs from Ozzy I had enough. The one time I saw Sabbath with Ozzy was okay though, but more in a "it's Sabbath, with Ozzy, and they play Paranoid, how awesome is that?" than in a "this is a great performance" kind of way.

The drummer dude in Heaven and Hell (the band) and that picture is Vinnie Appice. Bill Ward quit the band during or after the Heaven and Hell tour.

Well, I guess I stand corrected... it's been a few years. I knew that Bill Ward quit at some point, but I wasn't sure when. I never followed Heaven and Hell. I was more of a fan of Ozzy as a solo act, anyway. He's fried, no doubt, but I still think he's fun to watch.

I personally preferred Dio's solo stuff. Never been a fan of Ozzy and wasn't massive on Sabbath either.
