Default 114. Live Or Die

This is the START OUT OF HELL & ARRIVE TO HEAVEN topic.
Let's Go to Rock 'n' Roll!!!!!!!

Live Or Die (7)

Definitely the best song on the album for me. It's still not the same level as his any elder hits but a good rock song with a few great musical key. I love the Western-style violin at the start and the mood of the entire song. I miss the piano and the choir or the background vocals; Patti should do a great backing female vocal in this song. It would have been sounding better with the 90ies voice of Meat. I think it would be a breat concert song.

My score: 7

9/10

Chorus is Catchy, and while what its about is uninspired its a fantastic tune

The fact he has ginny and this song will most likely not be in the set is confusing

Same here. Lyrics could be better but with regard to the music, it is one of the most interesting songs Meat Loaf has recorded. More strings, please. (As usual, no rating from me, sorry.)

Catchy song. Not a fan of the lyrics. Still one of my 4 fav songs on the album

I enjoyed both Meat's voice and the lyrics. Lyrics are on the 3rd position from "Hell In A Handbasket" (in my private ranking).

8 - loving Meat's country rock sound, was fascinating to hear the fiddle make an appearance on a Meat album

Well YEEE HAAAA parders

Kick ass country flavour to this one.
Rock hasn't been this country since Bon Jovi went down in a Blaze Of Glory.

Do it or don't.
Meat puts it over in a way Yoda just couldn't deliver.
Although i'd love to hear THAT recording

Another song that would sound great live
9/10
