Why no Meat?

Obviously, everyone has noticed Meats long absence from these boards, can anyone shed any light on why he hasnt been here? You could say its because of the tour, but when he was doing promo in the U.K and Germany which is just as much hastle flying back and fourth. So has Meat been upset by something or has he just no got a chance to post? I wish he'd come back!

I would imagine that it is more taxing to be on tour as opposed to doing promo, and I personally would believe that he hasn't been around so much due to the tour. Though it would thrill the heck out of me to see him around here again, as I'm sure it would all of us. I'm sure he'll pop in sometime when he was a few days off of the tour.

My thoughts exactly Sherrie :)
And even though he's had a day or two off recently, he's travelling, and I'm sure using that time to work in some promo while he's on the road. Hopefully he'll be able to pop in for a visit when he has the 2 week break in August . We miss you Fireball !!

Well, coming on to the forum at all is more than I ever hoped for, and he has only been posting for about seven/eight months, so I'm not really worried about a period of absence since what I'm used to is no posting anyway. I guess he's just busy. When the new official website is up and running, I'm guessing he'll post there (assuming there'll be a forum there).

If he's on tour, let him tour, and if he's got a spare moment, maybe he might leave a message here

And when he finishes this tour and retires, he might post on here like it's nobody's business!

I totally agree!

We do miss his posts, but I'm sure we all understand that he's got a lot on at the moment. Even tho' he's not posting at the moment it would be good to think that maybe he's still able to find some time to read some of our posts

..it sounds good to you that Meat would retire and spend the rest of his days posting posting posting to a list...rather than stay in the business...as..tho i don't know the man...i'm sure is his intent...to make more music and films?????

I think you misunderstood me, my meaning was it will be good to hear from him soon, I think it's great that he takes the time to post here at all during what must be a very heavy schedule.

True .... and Meat has a great repoire with his fans, so I'm sure he'll pop back in when he gets a chance :)

What I admire the most about him is that he takes the time to answer his PMs. I've sent him a couple in the past about the confusion over the release dates of the CD (first for the UK and then the US), and it really made me feel good that he took the time to answer my questions. How many other celebs would do that?
