yes, i still remeber it too. It was an exciting time when the album came out on 06-09-1993. Monday. I couldn't bel;ieve what i saw one week after that. UK Number 1, USA number 1, Germany number 1, Holland number 73 i think and 4 weeks later....number 1. The single was number one all over Europe. A real comeback. I almost cried back in 93, finally a comeback.

I still remember very clearly the roar from the small crowd at an open air Meat Loaf concert I was at in 1989 when he announced that he was working on Bat 2! There were just a few hundred people there, but we were absolutely electrified by that announcement! We didn't know then how many years we would have to wait for the release, but we were happy nonetheless!

It still doesn't seem that long ago to me. I think that I must of lost a few years somewhere because i I still can't believe that it is 25 years for the original Bat Out Of Hell

yeah Bat out of hell II what a time that was meat coming back from the brink of who knows what only he knows the full extent of that but he certainly came bouncing back with authority.

Without wanting to detract anything from Bat2, I'd hardly describe it as bouncing back from a brink :) True he won the Grammy off the back of it .. but I saw some memorable concerts in the intervening years and have some great albums

Yes, he did not came back from the brink. His best live concerts he did in the late eighties. Because of these concerts he brought Bat back to the attention of the world.
