Default Fight Club - The Game

I was reading my magazine on computer games, and I notice that they are planning to make a computer game based on the film. Does this mean that Meat might make his first apperance in a computer game? I hope so

Hey, I read that too tonight- I bet you saw it in the Gameinformer that came today, just like me. The pics in the mag don't look a thing like Brad Pitt or Edward Norton, so my guess would be that it is based on the concept of the film, rather than the specific characters. It sure would be cool to have a few Tyler quotes every once in a while as you play though! And an appearance by Bob Paulsen would be even better!

I read mine in a UK mag called Gamesmaster. They're unsure if its a beat 'em up or if it will follow the film yet. I'm going to email Vivendi to find out more.

Which computer are they meant to be making the game for?

Ok, an update on the game:

It should be released on the Xbox on the 26th of November and the PS2 on the 10th of December. Yes, Bob is a playable character Even better news, Meat has provided the vocals for the big breasted Bob

It's a gruesome beat-em up that loosely follows the film. As the fights wear on, bones can be broken with certain moves, and you can see the break happen in X-ray vision. Fighters can also die from their injuries, as well as make money from them.

The game will carry an 18 certificate.

Who else is buying it?

Great news that Meat's done the vocals - should be a laugh.

My god.... that is horrible... making a game of a movie or vice versa.... both ways, it will never work out.

Well, they do it all of the time. Yes, it doesn't always work, but we've been treated to some classics like Goldeneye, the latest Lord of The Rings game, Driver and even Gran Theft Auto.

I've seen an advert for it in a game magazine, it looks amazing. I think I will go out and preorder it pretty soon. Seriously, I'm not a game freak but this one looks really good.

i've got the game, its good but its hard to get into, and if you unlock eveything in the game you get an interview with meat, he says on the game that he is going to buy a copy of the game and make bob the champ

I've just done some searching around for this game and found these images of Mr Loaf as Bob:

Looks like fun!

Why are the good games always on PS2 and Xbox, of which I have neither, and would only get them for two games if I actually wanted either of the consoles
