Paradise By the Dashboard Light Video.

Alright, can someone help me out here. Did Steve Martin appear in the video for Paradise or didn't he? I seem to recall (I think) his in the video but it's literally been years and years since I've seen it. It's really starting to anny me if he was or not.

It was playing in the background during a scene in Leap Of Faith (Steve Martin & Meat Loaf). The original video is of an early live performance and is great

Maybe another version was released as Paradise was part of the soundtrack to the movie. Anyone know?

Yes, there was a video releases for Paradise as part of the Leap Of Faith soundtrack.
Meat played a guy called Hoover who was the bus driver/organ player.

The vid for Paradise was fantastic

.Really funny

.It's basically three couples at a drive in movie (all three guys played by Meat).There's also clips from the movie

Unfortunatly I haven't got a copy

.It's a shame because it was such a great vid.
I've asked on here before if anybody had a copy but didn't have much luck.Maybe one of our more recent members will have a copy of it?

Would that be from the Holy Grail of Meat films "Dead Ringer"?

What I wouldn't give to get hold of a copy of that.

No Pud, it's from a movie called Leap Of Faith staring Steve Martin.

I don't think Dead ringer was ever released

Apologies for putting this in the wrong forum. I was looking for one specifically aimed at videos but couldn't see one so I though general would be ok.

Anyway, thats for your help on the vid. I vaugely remember a movie drive in.

Incidentally, pudding, are you talking about the video for dead ringer? I have one with meat and cher in a bar eyeing each other up then dancing together. Meat looks very nice in it

It' on the Hits Out of Hell video.
