This is no lie!! Meat Loaf can help you in School!
Well, I had a big exam week last week. And I mean it was BIG
30 pages divided into 4 tests (Math, English, Social Studies, Science) Well I passed all except for Math, in which I got 4% in I got 60% in Social Studies (which is like history), 65% in science, 77% in english :) By taking most of My NOTES, into TUNE of the Meat Loaf songs. And I can't believe it worked, it really did! :) . The average mark in my class was 47% Oh well, second semester is coming out in June, we will see how well I do then (just thought I'd share ) |

Very cool RSG!! Wow, a 4% in math? That sounds like my math grades in school! I tutor middle school (11-13 year olds) and I had to do a major math review myself just to help them- I am seriously math phobic! I always recommend to students that they use music to help them remember things- it's a very powerful tool! (The other tool that I used when I had to remember things was bawdy, filthy pneumonics- memorizing a list by making a very dirty phrase out of the first letter of each item on the list. I won't officially recommend that method, but it got me through high school, college AND grad school!) :P Are you familiar with the Monty Python song "Bruces" (also called "Drunken Philosophers?")- that song absolutely got me through my college ethics class, because it had all the philosophers names and a bit of drink-related joke about their basic beliefs! "Rene Descartes was a drunken fart/I drink therefore I am!", for example. It's amazing the things that you can remember if it's set to music!
