I bought it at the begining of the year. It wasn't easy to get hold of but was well worth the effort. It is a brilliant DVD and has given me lots of enjoyment.

The VH-1 Storytellers from december is the same that came out in the US in 1999. Different cover, same dvd.
The only BOOH thing availible on dvd is Hits Out Of Hell, originally on VHS and the Makin' of BOOH, but which is more a story/interview with Meat and Jim.
But both of it is worth the money !

Best,
ME

The Storytellers DVD is quite worth the money, I absolutely adore it! I watch it quite often, and I would recommend it to any Meat fan. It has some really great moments, great music- outstanding!

Unfortunately, they put Life is a lemon only on the cd instead of both of them. But therefore they cut the really funny moments (screwing around...) out on cd.
It's best to buy the dvd and the cd. Makes the concert complete.

Best

Was Lemon from the Storytellers VH1 show? I was under the impression that it was taped at a "regular" live show and added to the CD. Anyone know if this is correct?

Yes ... Lemon was from the Storytellers show :)
I think Meat said in an interview that they filmed for over 3 hours .. I would love to see what they cut out of the show !!

I don't think it is Angel. I was lucky and got mine at a record fair, you'll have to buy it on the web.
Lemon and Lawyers sound great on the CD. I'll have to buy the DVD too.

I did once see StoryTellers CD in HMV about a year ago, but lack of funds made me leave it there, so it is available in the shops - perhaps you might have to order it in???

Default storytellers dvd

I finally got my copy of this dvd today, have been searching for it for months in all the well known music stores and had other people searching for it for me, lol.
Then me and a friend went into town today and called in one of the music stores local to our area as she wanted a cd, so I thought whilst I was there I would ask about the storytellers dvd, to which I expected him to say no they hadnt got it, much to my surprise he said yes they had got it and it was only £10.99, so I knew I had 2 get it lol.
Whilst I was there I thought I would see what else they had of Meat's music and dropped on a copy of Bat out of hell II for £5.99, now my stepdad can have his copy back lol and a copy of heaven can wait - the best of for £4.99. They have also got a meat loaf t-shirt at £11.99, so im going back for that when I get paid again.
The guy at the counter said they have most of meats back catalogue and if they hadnt got anything I wanted they would try to order it. I did ask about the availiability of the storytellers cd and when he looked on computer system he said they could no longer get it, as they had previously been importing it and it had been taken off import, so just wondered if anyone knew if it is actually available in UK at all
