Just had to let you know that Edison Lighthouse appeared at our club in Hammersmith a couple of weeks ago, they played a lot of 60's music plus you never guess 'Love grows where my Rosemary goes' trouble is I remember them first time round |

This girl is a woman now - Gary Puckett and The Union Gap
This girl walked in dreams Playing in a world of her own This girl was a child Existing in a playground of stone Then one night her world was changed Her life and dreams were re-arranged And she would never be the same again This girl is a woman now She's learned how to give This girl is a woman now She's found out what it's's all about And she's learning how to live This girl tasted love As tender as the gentle dawn She cried a single tear A teardrop that was sweet and warm Our hearts told us we were right And on that sweet and velvet night A child had died A woman had been born Young Girl - Gary Puckett and the Union Gap Young girl, get out of my mind, My love for you, is way out of line, Better run, girl, Your're much to young girl, With all the charms of a woman You've kept the secret of your youth, You led me to believe Your're old enough to give me love And now it hurts to know the truth, Beneath your lipstick and make up, Your just a baby in disguise, And though you know that it's wrong to be alone with me That come on look is in your eyes, So hurry home to your mama I'm sure she wonders where you are, Get out of here before I have the time To change my mind Cous I'm afraid were go to far. These just about sum me up 36 years ago, but if I had my time again they would still be me |

This has always been my own little 'theme song':
You show us everything you've got You keep on dancin' and the room gets hot You drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy You say you wanna go for a spin The party's just begun, we'll let you in You drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy You keep on shoutin', you keep on shoutin' I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day You keep on saying you'll be mine for a while You're lookin' fancy and I like your style You drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy You show us everything you've got Baby, baby that's quite a lot And you drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy You keep on shoutin', you keep on shoutin' I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day.... jo |

Ooooh, crikey! Thought these would be just one line song title answers - not the whole song!
ie, today it would have to be 'Wild Thing' ....... but it will probably be something different tomorrow! Mental note: Think of whole song that represents me |

Very tough choice as it tends to change daily depending on my mood.
When I am happy it would be something like "The Street Where you live" from the musical "My Fair Lady" When I am sad/down it would probably be "The Dance" by Garth Brooks. Overall, I tend to be the sort of person who is forever questioning what they do, I am not very spontaneous so I really like ValJean's Song from les Miserables where he questions who he is: Quote:
