My thoughts go out to all the people of Boscastle who's village has been so badly damaged by the storms yesterday.
Living so close it really hits home. I remember when Bude flooded but the damage was nothing compared to what happened in Boscastle. |

In Finland we has also a flood. Flood damaged a bit of WRC Neste Rally Finlandīs roads.
But those was nothing compares to the floods in Boscastle. My thoughts go out to all those involved and their families |

Ditto BD .... it looks totally wrecked *friend sent me some before and after pics he found on net*. I feel so sorry for the people in that village. We've had landslides with the weather up here as well, but certainly not on that scale. Was one between Lochearnhead and Killin, outside Stirling, but people were airlifted to safety.
Bless the helicopter pilots ..... i wouldn't want their job i can tell you. |

i also know boscastle as it is one of my fav places to goto when i am in cornwall
looking at the news i can see all my fav places that i goto when i am there and even tintagel was hit i was told like black-dog i remember when bude was flooded ![]() ![]() we just have to be more thankful that it didnt happen when the town was crowded with emets (visitors) |
