Default Why do people hug trees

How come you have tree huggers whats the point in hugging trees you don't get anything but splitters

i just reread your original post.

you meant splinters didnt you?

you only get splinters from trees that have been cut down and made into planks. living tress do not have little sharp fragments poking out all over the place.
