Default What is missing from your Meat Loaf collection

IT IS MY STATED LIFETIME AMBITION TO HAVE EVERYTHING THAT MEATLOAF EVER RELEASED . WITH AMAZON AND E BAY THIS IS MORE POSSIBLE NOW, HOWEVER THE STONEY ERA SINGLES EVADE ME AND SOME EARLY 7" AND 12" SINGLES. I ALSO CLASS STEINMAN RELATED STUFF IN THE SAME CATEGORY AND THE TONIGHT IS WHAT IT MEANS TO BE YOUNG SINGLE IN ALL FORMATS ARE MISSING. HOW FAR ON IS YOUR COLLECTION AND WHAT IS MISSING.

I do have a 'hard' copy of every song that Meat Loaf has ever released, starting from the two Popcorn Blizzard songs up until latest stuff.

What I don't have, however, are all edits, remixes and other offiically released versions of the songs. Still working on that. I'd also love to have a copy of the original Popcorn Blizzard single, but since I reckon that the chances of coming across an affordable copy are very scarce, I'll settle for the Michigan Mixture bootleg-LP.

TIWIMTBY pops up on eBay all the time, as do the Stoney and Meatloaf singles.

Apart from all the recordings, i'm a sucker for comercial crap.

Posters, badges, patches, postcards, sweatbands ( ) , toy cars, you put Meat Loaf on it, chances are i'll but it

What i'm REALLY after (the thing that comes to mind at the moment) is the Meat Loaf condom.

Got to track one down.

I've only ever seen two of them come up (no pun intended ) on e bay, and I was outbid both times.

I've still yet to get these albums...

- Blind Before I Stop
- Meat Loaf Live
- Live Around The World (ordered!)
- VH-1 Storytellers

They are not easy to come by unfortunately. Also I have to decide whether I wanna get the UK or US version of BBIS and the original or re-released versions of Storytellers.

Most of the singles.. If I listed them all we would be here all day!
And just the general nicknacks!
Actually add To Hell And Back
Feel The Motion and most of his other films that I do not have!

I'm like you FM, I like to collect all those commercial Meat Loaf items as well. Not so much on the music, I mean in terms of every release, remix the world over.

I have posters, a painting, a couple badges, script of AFL, Dean Skuza funny car, books, key chains, movies and that's just what I can think of right now :)

J.

PS. If I ever see one of the condoms on ebay or somewhere I'll let you know, FM. :) Something I've only seen once, and wouldn't mind having is the "Holy Water kit" that came out around the time of WTTN, I think.

Most obvious omission from my collection is the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra cd. I really do have to order a copy of that sometime soon.
