Just a reminder that Kasim will be playing TWO gigs
this weekend that fans can attend, one on LONG ISLAND
and the other in ALBANY, NY.

On Friday 9/29 Kasim will be playing as part of The
Ricky Byrd Trio at St Joseph's College, Patchogue.
Tickets are available on 631 447 6055 and cost up to
$25. Doors open at 6.30 with Kasim being on stage at
7.30 pm

On Saturday 9/30 Kasim will be playing bass for Sister
Mitchell as the head lining act at the
GoGirlsMusicFest2000 at Valentine's, 17 New Scotland
Avenue, Albany, NY. Doors open at 4.00 pm with the
first act at 5.00 pm but Kasim (with Sister Mitchell)
are not due on stage until 12.15 am for a one hour set
which will be filmed to be broadcast later on USGIGTV.

Tickets are $10 and are available at the door, at all
TicketMaster locations or on 315 472 0700. The
Ticketmaster website is slightly confusing as they
still advertise Jill Sobule for the event but she has
now dropped out. The organiser has assured me that any
tickets with Jill Sobule's name on it for this event
will be honoured at the door. The GoGirlsMusicFest2000
is to benefit the Equinox Domestic
Violence Programs.
