Back Into Hell Band Score
Hi Folks,
For Bat Out Of Hell there is a music score book called Bat Out Of Hell: Off The Record which is basically what the musicians played on the record - i.e. not the simplified "Piano Vocal Guitar" version - the real music. I have this book. I'm now looking for the Bat II version. I know it exists, as I remember seeing it in the shop just after Bat II came out all those years ago. Does anybody know what it was called? Or indeed, own it? Cheers, Steve, Ireland. |

I don't believe that exists to be honest otherwise I would have known about it, surely.
Putting these Off the record books together takes a LONG time, and I know it was done for Bat 1 as I have that one too. |

Definitely was made. I saw and held it with my own hands. I remember seeing the note and tab for the guitar to Life Is A Lemon and thinking "Cool!"

Must admit I've never ever seen one, took me an age to find the BooH Off The Record Book, so if there is a Bat II one then it is rarer than a rare thing in raresville.

I seem to have both sheet music books Bat 1 & 2 but none of them say off the record on them.
This is the bat 1 book I have http://www.musicroom.com/se/ID_No/026105/details.html apparently you can download pdf files for the following book at tradebit.com Bat out of hell Bat out of hell 2 Bat out of hell 3 Bad for Good Dead ringer Streets of fire Bonnie Tyler Air Supply Dance of the Vampires Songs like: Making love out of nothing at all Read 'em and Weep Faster than the speed of night Holding out for a hero Total Eclipse of the heart No matter what and many more... direct link http://www.tradebit.com/filedetail.p...-in-pdf-format but they charge you $5 which isnt bad for the complete Jim Steinman collection. I still don't believe bat 2 full band score in a commercial book format exists. Afl would have to be in excess of 24 tracks in some parts. How could that possibly fit in a book.

Not the same thing. We're talking about the FULL score. EVERY instrument, not just piano/vocal/guitar. As correctly pointed out above, the full score for Bat (including Dead Ringer For Love) is available in a book sub-titled 'Off The Record', but there is some debate as to whether a similar book exists for Bat II. They are NOT looking for these simplified sheets. |
