Steinman's TDE
I'd ask on Rockman, but I don't know my password and my new email account don't match the one on the site. But does anyone know if there are any photos, audio/video of The Dream Engine?

IMO the dream engine boots are the best thing steinman related in the past decade.
This stuff is easy to find. Look up the YouTube channel of nocturnalpleasure. Or look up 'nowhere fast dream engine' and that should link you to a full bootleg concert and a handful of demos.

Unfortunately your right. But its the only thing he's done musically and it really wasn't him, more Rinkoff. Imagine Meat with those songs. |

And while ML doing some of these songs would be cool would be cool, I would have preferred a proper Dream Engine release. The reason is that TDE can utilize 3 and 4 part harmonies better. Plus some of the songs would not be appropriate for Meat. Like "Still the Children". Him singing that would be more ridiculous than him singing IACBTMN solo. Despite popular opinion I don't think that EVERY Steinman track ever sung should be owned by Meat. Just most of them. The best thing would be a collaboration. TDE releases an album of Steinman covers with a couple of new tracks and than backs up ML on BR vocals for BOH4 (or whatever you wanna call it). Thats one thing that I miss on most non Steinman related tracks. The background vocal arrangements are lacking. |
